Galadriel's litter of 7 turned 7 weeks old yesterday...on the 7th! :D

The kittens are doing great! They have been given some new "recess" time out of their enclosure into a wider space in the cattery and they're loving the freedom! They were cautious at first, but then jumped right in! It's so fun seeing them play and explore and have more room to run! (Now that they can be more trusted to not have any potty accidents....) They are still not left unattended in the "wide open space" in the cattery - too many things they could climb and fall from. Kittens have no real sense of danger from heights; definitely no critical thinking of, "Huh, that's pretty far to the floor, maybe I shouldn't jump from this height!" Lol. But, they're still babies, it's understandable!

All but one of the kittens have been claimed by current waitlisters! I am waiting to hear back from someone on the last kitten, and if that's a "no" or if I don't hear back soon, I'll reach out to others on the list. Thank you all for your patience during the process. There are still a few of the kittens that I'm waiting to see more of their personality emerge before setting them aside for their specific family. I do my best to match these kittens with which household they would thrive in the most, and for the human counterpart(s) as well.

Lúthien is doing really well, too. She's completely recovered it seems from the recent spay surgery. She's turned back into her "pre-mamma" self where she now carries around toys and brings them to me in whatever room I'm in :) She played these last 5 years, of course, but it seems her hormones and personality have settled back to what they were before she went into heat the first time and started having babies. I've enjoyed the change, although I am sad that her kitten-days are over as she had amazing kittens! I am blessed to have Galadriel still :)
